Malé
It is the political, administrative, cultural and economic centre of the valley, and the seat of the Museum of the Civiltà Solandra.
The village is near the Valley of Rabbi, on the foot of Monts Cumacina and Pèller. Its historical centre is developed around the Church of Assunta, and the chapel of S. Valentino that forms with the other church a picturesque architectural unity.
Malè, rich on green and water, is a door on the Stelvio National Park and the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park. Thanks to its particularly sunny position, situated at the confluence of rivers Noce and Rabbies, it is an important tourist resort, starting-point of many excursions and walks, and of a cycling path that runs through river Noce per 11 kilometres.
