Riva del Garda

The pleasure of a holiday made from a thousand ingredients

This old town faced on Garda Lake is one of the most renowned and appreciate resorts of Northern Italy. Thanks to its mild climate it is frequented from national and international customers, mainly German, from Easter to November.
Riva del Garda has an absolutely unique charm; its wide and sunny beaches are dominated from rock faces and surrounded from a Mediterranean vegetation, characterized by olive trees, lemon trees, palms and laurels.
Its particular geographic conformation offers the possibility to practice many different sports; sailing and windsurfing on the lake (where in the afternoon the famous wind named ”Ora” blows from the South), climbing on the rock faces surrounding the area, mountain biking on the mountains and on the arranged tracks. The capacity of the accomodation and facilities for tourists is noteworthy, and in summer season also the cultural and recreational activity is very lively.
The centre, with its valuable architectures, is all a remind of the important past; Riva del Garda in fact was and is one of the most active historical, commercial, and cultural centres of the Garda basin. To confirm this there is also a big Congress Centre Palacongressi where are organized important and successful fairs and conferences during the year.
