Cycling path
VALLE DELL'ADIGE NORTH - MEZZOCORONA - SAN MICHELE ALL'ADIGE
To Mezzocorona, in locality Masetto, the path crosses the river Adige passing on the right bank. It is advisable having a break in Mezzocorona, important wine centre at the mouth of the Valle di Non. On the west side of the village it is possible to see the Castle Firmian, built in 1480 from the homonym dynasty. From the Castle Firmian, rising e steep lane, it is possible to reach the ruins of Castle San Gottardo (m 364). It is advisable to do the walk rising the Mount of Mezzocorona (m 891), with its wonderful panorama over the Piana Rotaliana; it is reachable with cable-car, or with a lane in a hour and a half. From the mount many other tracks lead to the peaks of Vigo.
VALLE DELL'ADIGE NORTH - BOLZANO - ROVERE' DELLA LUNA
The cycling path of Adige Nord is located at the limits with the province of Bolzen in the Municipality of Giovo. There it joins with the Alto Adige path Salorno-Egna. On the other side, it continues on the path of Adige Sud, to the bridge of Ravina towards Trento, after 32 kilometres. The beautiful landscape is characterized from the vine.
VALLE DELL'ADIGE NORTH - LAVIS - TRENTO
The cycling path goes from the industrial zone of Lavis, and than following the left bank of river Adige, towards Trento. On the west there are the rock climbing faces of Vela. This village is also the starting point of the lane San Vili, that reaches Madonna di Campiglio passing through Toblino and the mounts of valli Giudicarie. From the bridge of S. Giorgio the path follows the Lungo Adige Leopardi until the bridge of S. Lorenzo. Trento is the political and geographical centre of the region. To have a look over the town it is easily reachable (about 4 minutes) the panoramic point of Sardagna, with the cable-car starting the bridge of S. Lorenzo. An other interesting diversion to visit the Doss Trento, where it stands out the Mausoleo a Cesare Battisti. From the bridge of S. Lorenzo it is possible to reach the centre of Trento. The cycling path continues following the left bank of river Adige, until the bridge of Ravina.
VALLE DELL'ADIGE SOUTH - TRENTO - BESENELLO
The cycling path Valle dell'Adige Sud represents the continuation of the path Valle dell'Adige Nord and develops for about 60 km from Trento until the limits with the province of Verona. The first access is nearby the bridge of Ravina on the right bank of the river Adige. There is parallel path with the access in Clarina, developing for 3 km on the left bank of the river, until the bridge of Matterello. From the village of Ravina it is possible doing agreeable excursions, as the walk to Cima Palon (m 2090, lane n° 625) and to the village of Garniga (m 882). Following the direction Mattarello-Acquaviva, northwards for 750 metres, in 5 minutes it is reachable villa Largher-Fogazzaro, in locality Acquaviva, a Baroque smart home. The cycling path rides on foot of the Maccapani, the rock faces loceted on the east of the highland of Vigolana (or Scanuppia), where is rising the lane of the Empereor.
